Processes

The program includes fundamental processes that ensure a planned, systematic, and monitored academic and administrative management, in coherence with the strategic guidelines defined by the University and the Department of Industrial Engineering. This organizational structure is coordinated with the corresponding institutional units, fostering conditions that guarantee the sustained development of the program and the quality training of its students, in accordance with the established institutional regulations.

These processes include:

  • Academic Renewal Process
  • Teaching Planning Process
  • Admission Process
  • Graduation Management Process
  • User Support Process for the MCII

Below is a diagram that shows the integration of these processes in the program management model:

This model is structured in three levels: strategic, substantive, and operational. Strategic management guides the direction of the program through institutional planning, the educational model, and mechanisms for continuous evaluation, ensuring a culture of self-regulation.

Substantive management constitutes the academic core of the program, coherently encompassing the educational trajectory from admission to graduation, with systematic actions that support the persistence and progression of students. This management is based on formalized processes, which are reviewed and adjusted periodically, promoting continuous improvement.

Finally, operational management provides the necessary resources, services, and supports, ensuring adequate conditions of infrastructure, information technologies, and academic support.

This entire model is articulated with feedback mechanisms from stakeholders, promoting informed decision-making and contributing to the sustainability of the program.
